The site collects very little. This page says what is collected, where it is kept and who can see it.

Where it is kept and who can see it

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Payment is handled by Stripe. Transactional and watch email is sent by ElasticEmail. Those three processors are the only ones. There is no account system and no database behind this site. No advertising network, no tracking pixel and no third-party analytics script runs on this site.

What the free check collects

Nothing. The check runs in your browser from a static JSON file. The facts you select are not sent to a server, not stored and not logged by this application. If you reload the page, the answers are gone.

What a purchase collects

Stripe collects the email address and payment details needed to complete the purchase. This site receives the session id and the email on the receipt, which is used to open the kit page. The change watch reads the active subscription from Stripe when it sends, and does not keep a separate copy of the address. It does not receive or store your card details.

What the change watch collects

The email address on the Stripe subscription and the subscription status. It is used to send the change email and nothing else. You can cancel through Stripe, and the address is removed from the send list when the subscription ends.

Cookies

No cookie is set by this application. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout domain under its own policy.

Access and correction

Write to support@theartofservice.com to ask what is held, to correct it or to ask for deletion. Requests are answered within a reasonable period.

Complaints

If a privacy concern is not resolved, it can be raised with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
